I think it is unlikely he has tin fingers.

The pump handle is broken. That happens with 2000s and other tracked-pump blasters sometimes, which is why some people re-enforce them with a bolt. We have done this with our 2100s (well, one has a 1000 PC in it). 2000s can shoot up to 75 feet...assuming that you're shooting from atop a steep hill, that is.

We probably won't be back, but the legacy lives on.

I sent the guy a message, telling him the problem, and if he wasn't willing to fix it I recommended that he comes here and sells it here, because we know how to fix things like that.

Easy fix. The bolt replaces the stock column, it's not a reinforcement (the bolt is a gazillion times stronger so there's no point in keeping the plastic). Most of the time taken in that repair is simply making sure that your drill holes in the pump handle line up. I did this to one of my 2000s pre-emptively. It's something that should be done to every 2000, 2500, and 4100, along with reinforcing the trigger.

How do you reinforce the trigger?

I would buy this though the fact that he can't even pump it and yet claims it works fine makes me wonder what else is wrong with it. IDK, as much as I would love to build up a bigger arsenal, I don't really need more guns like this. I'm fine with my 2500 so unless my friends start becoming regulars at Community wars (in which case I'd have to arm them), I don't need more then that. The only thing I might need is a few more mid-sized air pressure guns for my yearly B-Day party (so no one gets stuck with Flash Floods). Though a 1500 would be nice, just in case Bela comes to Downpour again.
