Yeah, i might not CX a 150 when i get one, or maybe the XXP 275 either. As far as reinforcing goes, you just have to replace or fix the part with somethin' stronger, right?

Yes, but if you're just converting to CPS and not doing a heavy K mod you don't need to reinforce. The pressure generated by CPS pressure chambers/LRT is not that much greater than the pressure generated in air pressure PCs.

However I'm doubling up the LRT, producing roughly 50 psi. that's somewhat high pressure for a relatively weak structured blaster. I'm expecting 50ft +

Plus the 250 has no pressure valve :oo:

Really? Are you sure? That's quite odd. If that is the case, they must be relying on the pump becoming to hard to pump after a certain pressure is reached.

10-12 pumps= rock wall. On this internet system i cant send links, but read GJIV's review on it on isoaker (search XP250), more and more power is needed. Ding! Reinforcement! :oo:

EDIT: UPDATE: Opened the sucker'up, he's simple: pipe(pvc), reservoir, PCs, Ball Valve, Nozzle. That's it! kool. :) easy reinforcing.

That's very interesting. Can you take pictures of the reinforcing process? I have thought about replacing stock piping with metal before, but some parts simply cannot be duplicated without a machine shop.

Well, The complicated area is the pump shaft, but I don't think i need to reinforce it because the pressure won't go there. It already feels strong, however the outside is rather flimsy. I might just need 1 metal pipe of a ceirtan size, replace it from the stock pipe, and I'm set for at LEAST 70 psi. but it's going to be 50, so it will hold together well.

Every update picture post will be on weekends for Noneayabeeswax reasons. :P
Actually, it's just because I have the right camera + computer at the right time.

If this mod goes well I definitely would not mod the SS 300, because it is hard to find. Also, I wouldn't do the XXP 275 either.

Heh, heh, you don't know what 300 I am getting, and, I actually would do it on a 275 because that would increase soakage drastically, hopefully exceeding the MXL in a small package. I would not do it on a XP 150 because i like them the way they are. Plus, i plan to get 2 SS 300s, because of this reason. :crazydance:

chapter 2: Beginning Mod Era

I've opened up the 250, it's pretty simple. The first Modifications will be the reinforcement, nozzle drill, and backpack reservoir. In the next arangement of Photos, you will see my plans for the era, internals, and the box...
Hehehehe....

That one that says wrong, go to the pic of the actual nozzle selector, you'll see the design is different.

Looks pretty sweet. Will be interesting to see if it shoots further with CPS tech. How'd you do the rainbow colored drawing?

I got that from my DS. I took the pictures on the DS, used 'graffiti', and chose colors. The pic memory's on a SD card, so I took the card out and put it in a card reader, and into my Com.

Weird result. :p

Isn't that thin extra tube between the pump and the PC's a pressure relief valve? :goofy:

Quik Question: what does that do? I coouulld pump it to the point that the plastic tears, but I'm not strong enough. I'm telling you, 12 pumps and I CANNOT move the pump. Eh?? o:
