If it's not specifically disallowed in the rules, it's allowed, right? :goofy:

hahaha, what a great idea  The first one to soak the squirrel wins, haha.

Well, not actually what the rules would suggest^^ There is no rule that forbid this but also no rule that allows it, so the thing is in the eye of the squirrel8which wants to be join the game, it seems :goofy: )

But actually I am missing some water...no one is soaked :P

If it's not disallowed, then it's allowed if you go by my quite liberal application of rules. It would be more impressive catching the critter and actually getting the flag on it. Ever tried to catch a squirrel barehanded? You'd have better luck trying to fly or bringing about world peace lol.

"The umpire's ruling is final" will usually put a stop to things like this.

Alas, it's too late for me to test a similar idea. The CTF rules I used to play with said that team's may not move their own flag except to bring it back to their own base. (So they can't hide the flag). But they said nothing about getting someone not on the team to move the flag ;-)

That's hilarious. In Vermin War 9 my friend Joe (who was on the other team) low crawled around a field, it must have been like 1/2 a mile, in order to come up behind our flag. He made it and grabbed our flag, only to be shot by another one of my friends who was just sitting there like he wasn't even playing.

In the same war, the other team put their flag in their respawn zone, so they said they couldn't be eliminated and thus we couldn't take their flag. You don't know how furious I was. That war was awesome though, there were fields and woods, and 2 abandoned trailors. We threw water balloons through the broken glass windows at the people who were defending them. So awesome.

I have never actuly played CTF with water guns (I have made a vow that this year That Will Change!) but I do have a funny story of a CTF game. It was just a regular game (where you tag them with your hand) and we didn't make any rules on hiding the flag. There were two fallen down trees covered in debre from recent floods, I lifted up the dibre, put the flag on the trees and put the dibre back. It was off the ground and barried! IDK were the other teams flag was though, we never found it ether.

I know a comic is good when it gets a bunch of positive responses!

Comics are fun to make, but it does take some time and thought to come up with a worthwhile story for this strip. My respect for full-time comic strip creators is just that much more after creating this one.
