Is it just me or does it seem like people have been paying quite a bit for guns on ebay lately? Beside the CPS 2100 that went for $61.00 last week, there's an MXL at $150.00 with 3 1/2 days left, a CPS 2500 (though NIB) with 5 1/2 days left at $143.58 and a CPS 2100 at $41.00 with 2 days left. Anyone else find this a tad strange? Or have soaker prices made like gasoline and are at new permanent high prices?

(p.s., could someone say if my avatar works or not? it works on my home computer but on my iBook it shows a broken image... thing. Thanks!)

Your avatar is not displaying when I view it via Firefox.

High prices are common during this time of year. Wait until winter, you'll be saying the opposite. A 2500 going for $143 now will be going for $60 mid-winter. Key point? Don't buy now and don't bid on guns over $70 unless you are just burning with desire to get the gun now and don't know what "ripped off" means. :p

Yeah, the prices will go down. It seems to me like some poeple have more money than brains at the moment, but once they are done being loose with their money, the prices will calm down.

Lol, Dux's sig says "Duxburian - go for it!" Really? I don't think I'm going to come to your sig for help on buying soakers. :p

Yeah, I'm just so used to seeing guns go for so much cheaper in the winter that I didn't know that this happened. I got my CPS 2500 for only about $35.00 at the end of last August (though the nozzle selector didn't work properly and I have to fix it, it didn't say so in the descrpition.... ). I'm perfectly content with the soakers I own right now but a bunch of my friends are looking for CPS blasters. These last two years my sports authority had a gigantic stockpile of CPS 2100's that many of my friends got (most of them broke) and last year my Target had a stockpile of CPS 4100's that I got a few of. I just hope that there's a few of both left over this year and that I don't have to become completely dependent on ebay like half of the country :(

Anyway, thank's for reassuring me that prices won't stay this high for the rest of time! ^_^ I do however predict that prices of old CPS's are going to increase over the years...

(You really can't see my avatar? hmmmm.... It works fine on firefox on my computer, I wonder why it doesn't always work? I guess I'll change it if I can't figure it out...)

This type of thread better fits the 'mySoaker' part. Thread moved.
