Hands-On: Nerf Super Soaker Assault Bunker

Recently picked up a Super Soaker Assault Bunker from a local Toys R Us. Like the Nerf Super Soaker Battle Shield, the Assault Bunker is an inflatable defensive device for use in water wars. Also, like the "Battle Shield", the Assault Bunker has a bunch of holes in it that virtually eliminate any protective value. On top of that, the Assault Bunker is meant to be used while in a pool. In general, this thing feels more like a re-purposed pool toy as opposed to something that is meant for typical water fights.

That said, I've pushed up a review and pictures of the Nerf Super Soaker Assault Bunker onto iSoaker.com. The theoretical idea of having an inflatable Assault Bunker is nice, but the execution of this particular product leaves a lot to be desired.

That's hilarious. I don't really know what else to say... I want to go swimming in a pool now?

Urr... umm....

At least it's related to water, right? :goofy:
I'm Starting to think things are going to get worse now. Microbursts will probably be in the top 5 next year. :(
Maybe it could be a year of rereleases, with NERF SS colored flash floods, aquapaks, Arctic Blasts, maybe more XP 70s. Eh, ya never know. But why is NERF being stupid right now?(They really are smart, making cheap $2 things and selling them for$20.) :P

Well, the hole in the middle is likely meant for sticking your water blaster through (that's what she said!), but the little ones on the sides are unnessicary. Either way, I see absolutely no point at all in having a shield for pool fights.

I think this is part of a Hasbro conspiracy to stuff up the "miscellaneous" section of iSoaker.com so that it overwhelms everything else.
