This is so stupid. It's almost like they're directly saying no to us. "WE GOT RID OF PUMPS AND WE'RE PROUD OF IT."

That's pretty much exactly what they're saying. Screw water warfare, sell blasters using the legacy of your brand name, profit!
Makes me wonder if we'll ever go full-cycle. We went from electric, "realistic" motorized blasters to pressurized ones, and all the way back to motorized blasters again! If history repeats itself, that means we're long due for some good, high powered XP-based designs lol. Or when the CPS patents expire, BBT may pull the same thing Larami did in 1998 and start releasing numerous higher end blasters again.
For now, we stick to CPS scavanging/eBaying, BBT's best stuff, modded HydroCannons/Iron Mans, and homemades.

Wow, they have a "nerf music" section.

What is this, Twilight? lol

They've had that for a while lol. They'd pick some random alternative/punk rock band to showcase every year and put it in their commercials and what not. I don't see how it helps them with people who don't have as simplistic taste in music as the target audience of the ads, but it's not something I pay much attention to.

That website, and especially that band, makes me almost embarrassed to carry an old Larami gun with the name "Super Soaker" on it in public for fear of someone thinking I like that band and am a member of "Nerf Nation."

Notice how none of the people in the commercial are even wet? Really sad when you think about it. I know they have a higher advertizing budget and all, but I still think WW will sell better this year. The biggest WW gun, the Colossus is the same price as the tiny Thunderstorm, I don't care your add budget, at least a quarter of the people in the market have to make the right choice!
I still think Water Warriors should write "Shoots 40 feet!" in 72 font on all there boxes, if that doesn't catch peoples eyes I don't know what will.

Statistics mean nothing to someone that doesn't know anything. Plus, a lot of companies exaggerate.
Super Soaker is still probably going to sell more. Today a friend I know was convinced that the new motorized guns are powerful. So I showed him my CPS 1200 and my Vanquisher, and managed to convince him otherwise.
