A lot of members both on SSC and ISF have been acting as if every soaker listed in site armories is readily avaliable, despite the fact we constantly mention they are discontinued. I want to remind everyone the avaliable soakers are the ones you see in stores. Hope that clears it up for everyone.

Edit: yeah I know I used the wrong "they're" in the title...

Some smaller companies make that mistake, too.

Actually it's the right one.
You can still find discontinued soakers in remander shops but they are hard to find. I found a CPS 1500 last year in a shop. I didn't buy it though as I had no money. By the time one of my friends got there it had already gone.

Actually, I edited it from the original "their".
And while it may be true that you can sometimes from the odd older soaker in a store, it is definitely the exception more than the rule.

For those who are unfamiliar with the current trend, the only source where discontinued soakers are readily available is ebay. The problem is, many of these soakers are heavily used and with several days of bidding the final prices can far exceed the original prices. Also, you have to have a $10+ shipping price for the larger soakers. For those who are willing to spend large wads of cash, ebay is your place.
