Anybody remember when we've found soakers the past few years? Middle of January to middle of February, right? I'm wondering when I should start keeping an eye of for new stuff, at Target especially. They always get new stuff in early.

ChrisReid, in Seattle, tended to find new soakers as early as late-Nov. However, for most places, it'd be at least Feb-Mar to be more sure of finding something in the stores. For me, it's usually around Mar-Apr (Canuckland is too cold, otherwise :goofy:)

The earliest I have seen a water gun in a store was January. If you are set on finding the new water guns early, ask the person at the counter if they have any water guns in the back. I've had success finding some water guns that way, though I am unsure how early they keep the water guns in stock.

With luck, we will receive information from Big Bee, but I fear that he has abandoned us. He has not responded to my emails or the emails of others, so he is either busy or anti-social at the moment. Hasbro is kept tight as Fort Knox, so I doubt we will get anything from them. By this time last year, they had registered the SoakerTag Elite trademark. They have not registered a new Super Soaker related trademark, so I am assuming that they are either keeping the same SoakerTag Elite line or changing some or all of the SoakerTag Elite water guns.

Late January is a good time to start looking for early season deals, that is also when I begin to see the new guns on shelves. About Big Bee, just assume the worst case scenario, that he has abandoned us.

Well, considering the "activity" lately, I doubt we're going to get some if any information about next year.

I have no clue how in the world he ends up with new soakers in late November. It seems like that'd be the worst time (for a business) to be selling waterguns. I remember finding the 2000 line at Wal-Mart in January, that's the earliest I've ever seen.

Beats me why some stores there seem to carry soakers so early. Then again, considering how many soakers that guy has, perhaps the stores figure they've got one definite customer. :goofy:

I'm closing this thread since the 2006 soakers thread in The Cache forum now has some information on coming 2006 soakers and I'd like to try to keep incoming info in one place for easier reading.
