Hydro cannon test fire video

Post by Fishfan » Mon Aug 27, 2012 10:46 am

Can someone with a Monster XL stack a 3D pyramid and take a video of the Monster XL blasting that pyramid down? And then post it on youtube as a video reply to this video:

Because this video has 171K views it could possibly get a lot of views, and more people will want better water guns after seeing the soaking power of the Monster XL.

I don't think the MXL is that powerful; it puts out a lot of water, but it's not very "powerful", as in the stream isn't as forceful as most blasters in the CPS line. The 2000 and 2500 have the most powerful-feeling streams that I've ever experienced. The 1500 also has a very explosive stream, and I'm sure any old CPS blaster could blow apart a pyramid of plastic cups instantly.

This reminds me of a Thunderstorm video last year, that was much like this one; it could barely knock over the cups at all. Says a lot, don't it?

We probably won't be back, but the legacy lives on.

Yes it does. I saw that one also.

I just thought it would be good because of the monstrous size of the thing, but I'm not super experienced with vintage water guns, as I only have read about them, never tested one, or held one. I did see what I recognize now as a CPS 1-3-5, and it was the best water gun at the waterfight.(What a noob I was back then) Tor some reason the kid who used it only fired it once probably because it was so heavy for the 5 year old. That was a long time ago, and I only recognized it because of the 5 nozzles in a fan layout.

Anyways, back on topic, maybe someone with a 2000 could make a video of it blasting a giant 3D pyramid of cups from 10 feet away, and post it on youtube as a reply to the thunderstorm video. (it would have better effect with the thunderstorm one because how weak the thunderstorm is.) That person could give a link that says, "For more information go to waterwar.net or SScentral.org
This would hopefully give more publicity to our cause, and Hasbro would hopefully create better blasters, and if not, people could push them to sell the CPS patent to BBT.

This topic has been moved to the "Specific Water Gun" forum. Please use this forum when posting about a specific blaster, or anything non mod/repair related about a specific blaster.

Someone, please make a vid response with an old CPS and link to WWN. It's obvious that people out there are interested in soakers and that we're only reaching a fraction of those.

I just commented
The Hydrocannon is much better when modified. If you want to see what it's truly capable visit Dukesoakem(dot)com or waterwar(dot)net
Everyopne like my comment!
