I plan on getting ether a Gorgon or a colossus for modding with camo and 5x nozzle and I want to know which gun you would get and why you prefer it to the other.

I love my Gorgon. My Colossus is still NIB, but I fought against Scott and Duxburian with their Collossi at Hydropocalypse. DX and I fired our guns side by side to test power/range/output levels. If I remember correctly, the Gorgon shoots further on a larger nozzle (around 4x?), and the Colossus shoots further on a smaller nozzle (somewhere around 2.5x?). Ultimately their top ranges were the same. If Isoaker's models are the norm, then you can expect 39-40 feet top range for either gun. With the Colossus you have superior mobility. It weighs a little less, but on top of that, the weight distribution is even better. I feel like I could dodge better with that gun. With that being said, the Gorgon does shoot further on a larger nozzle, meaning if you want a gun with 5x, the Gorgon is probably the way to go for you. Both are great choices however.
