My New Super Soaker XP 310

I bought my new super soaker wierdly even though it is supposedly not made anymore. I bought it from http://www.hamleys.com

When I tried it out, it was awesome but the stream looked weak. When i stuck my hand in front, i realised it wasn't weak!!! It went a pretty far distance, and it was light for its size.

I really wanted a better nozzle, as you know it is very small and the 4 settings have minimal difference. I tried fitting the TTE Triple Shot's Nozzle on but it did not fit.

I thought, and realised that I could drill holes. I left the biggest hole and the smallest hole. I wanted it to go...
Small (original smallest), Medium (original largest), Large (newly drilled 3mm) and Xtra Large (newly drilled 4mm).

I drilled by hand by taking the nozzle off and drilling with a normal drill bit (not a hand drill). I did it by hand to make sure that I wouldn't ruin the whole thing :S

Here's some pictures...

Full Modded Nozzle - Much better than non-modded nozzle

Small Hole - Longer Range, Weak but long lasting flow.

Medium Hole - Long range, Soaker

Large Hole (Drilled 3mm) - Steady, Drencher and Powerful

Xtra Large Hole (Drilled 4mm) - Water Guzzler, Medium Drencher, Weaker than 3mm

Here is my Super Soaker...

Good review, good pics. If that one on the bottom isn't a professional pic, I'm impressed.

Nice mods, review, and pics! Truthfully, I never understood why they didn't put on a greater range of nozzle sizes on the stock XP310. The soaker can definitely provide enough power for larger nozzles as your mods show.

@dandoodatrite: may I repost your review and pictures on iSoaker.com?

Those nozzles look a little rough. You might consider smoothening them out.
