Quick trip; very little time to see much, but snagged some pics. Not my usual blaster o' choice, but that was due to uncertainty about bringing a pressurized blaster on some forms of carry-on transportation. Sometimes, it is best to stick with pump-action water blasters that can be readily replaced.

Soakin' Times Square!

More pics to come... unfortunately, didn't get a chance to take all the types of pics I wanted, but got a bunch of decent ones nevertheless. Just waaaaaaaay too many sights to see in NYC.

What gun is that? DX, I think this is near where Andrea and I picked you up last summer. I know we visited Times Square the day before that.

The blaster use for my NYC trip was one of the Water Warriors Kwik Grip XLs.

How come you didn't tell me? :D

Well, nice to see traveling. I wonder if the Quik Grips XLs are better than XP215s... :goofy:

Oh, I thought about it, but considering how the weather has gotten cooler, I wouldn't have wanted you to get sick after being thoroughly and utterly drenched (even though I was only packin' a Water Warriors Kwik Grip XL, too! :goofy: )

On a more serious note, I already knew my time would be very limited (ate lunch standing up at Dean & Deluca in SOHO) and ran around from there. In terms of blasters, I'd still pick my XP215 over a Kwik Grip XL anyday, but since XP215s are harder to come by now, I opted for the Kwik Grip XL in the event I lost it or had to ditch it.

I'm just glad I went to NYC the weekend before... best of luck to those dealing with the problems Sandy brought at NYC. While I'm all for soaking people, never to the point where property is damages and people are hurt.

That said, nature still kicks our collective arses when it comes to sheer water output.

Yes, these storms are definitely a reminder that nature is a force we do not completely understand and certainly do not control.
