The colors are getting there too. Lots of leaves on the roads today. Tis the season to prep for Frozen Fury; always a lot of leaves on the ground by then.

We don't get Fall colors in Mississippi, only on the ornamental Maple trees. I hope to see some on the way back to NC this weekend. We may take a detour up highway 11 in SC . It passes by Table Mountain and a few other pretty places and the elevation is high enough for good color. Unfortunately I think the color will be all gone when we head to Connecticut for Thanksgiving with family and Frozen Fury. The trip goes through the mountains almost the entire way and the Blue Ridge has spectacular color at its peak.
