Pro-tip: when pondering how *awesome* your blaster may be, don't forget to dodge.

Beware the PurpleWell, not that much soakage.
The way I look at picture use, so long as pictures are used in non-commercial ways, help promote water warfare, and reference the original image, I'm fairly flexible. What I hate are when my pictures and reviews are used by others for personal gain (e.g. eBay auctions). Using armoury pics for creation of fun comics to be shared freely with the community is a ok use so long as reference links are included somewhere. Thanks for asking!atvan wrote:If I make a comic strip for the site, I can use your pics as long as I link to them?
lol, once, I even saw a seller use your review, then say, Thank you to isoaker.comblah blahblah. No Joke! What I hate are when my pictures and reviews are used by others for personal gain (e.g. eBay auctions)

I thought about that before, but opted against it as I also opted against awarding points for water blaster reviews, building, modifications, and some other things. The goal of the iSoaker Water Warfare League is to get people to enjoy water warfare or, at the very least, help promote it. Battle reports means that members are actually battling. Fictional battle reports are accepted since they show what some members can imagine of what a water war can be. Comic strips, on the other hand, are really for entertainment and a few laughs. That's why they won't be considered for points.atvan wrote:Also, I think you should give just a few points for making a comic, and maybe extras for regular updates/more than a certain number of strips.
