Hydro Cannon Modification

Post by Nitro123PG » Mon Mar 05, 2012 5:14 pm

Here is yet another Hydro Cannon mod thread. :goofy: I PM'ed several people on this but I guess a thread won't hurt anything.

I'll be buying a Hydro Cannon to modify. I plan on gutting the resovoir, making a backback resovoir and messing with the nozzle. The reason for this thread comes from the PC replacement. Now, would it be best for me to use the PC from my Arctic Blast, or to order a bladder, preferbly about the size of a CPS 2000 bladder, from MacMaster Carr? Thanks much.

Well, you could ask the guy who posted ten minutes before you. :goofy:

What combination of range, output, shot time, and stream velocity do you want? These could all affect your choice. However, a stronger bladder will get you everything but shot time, which will be increased with the mod anyway. So that would be my recommendation.

The Arctic Blast bladder would only be as powerful as the original one. Some LRT from mcmaster would be awesome.
