XP 150 conversion?
I searched through mod guides on the internet and found nothing. I would think you could put ballons in the pressure chambers of an XP 150 to give it CPS performance, right? Are there a certain kind of ballons? I'm going to try this, but I'm just posting to see if anyone has done it before since I found no info on the web.
Re: XP 150 conersion?
The XP 150 is pretty good as is. There was a mod that involved using a balloon for each bulb to separate the air and water to allow the blaster to fire in any direction, but you won't be able to pump in extra air which will negatively impact performance. (And the balloons at base size will create a LOT of dead space.) The blaster, like virtually all blasters with room for a pressure chamber, can be converted to CPS, but there's not much opportunity in terms of expanding its air pressure performance. Combining both (i.e. using both the pressure of a thick bladder and air pressure) won't do much either; there's still a lot of dead space and the pressure dropoff is going to be enormous since there's not a lot of air to go around.
Disabling the pressure relief valve on air pressure blasters is usually preferred, but this may carry the risk of damaging the blaster with over-pumping, or worse, safety issues.

Re: XP 150 conersion?
It's called the XPS mod. Only a thin layer of rubber is used, so it doesn't boost performance much if at all. What it does is lets you shoot the gun holding it at any angle.
Re: XP 150 conversion?
I recall the last place I read about the XPS mod specified that it involves getting power from the balloon modification. I wasn't exactly sure what it is; if its just single player for separation of air and water or also for the purpose of gaining power from the balloons. However, as I mentioned, its probably difficult to get the balloon to seal, it creates a lot of dead space, and the dropoff will be enormous since you cannot pre-pump. Instead, pre-pump air into the chambers to get more CPS-like performance.
