Alright, so last week I went to a local Toys R Us and asked if they had any overstock CPS supersoakers. The guy was like "what's cps...all the supersoakers we have are over in the front, which was to put it nicely, not a very big selection. (they had the aquapack, the transformers supersoaker, and a "sizzlin cool" Blazer with its tank dented. Had the tank not been dented, I would have purchased the Blazer right away. Research indicated that Sizzlin Cool is a division of Toys R Us that imports various water toys.
The question is: where can you find the old CPS soakers in Toronto, or whatever your area is?
Availibility of CPS soakers.
To find old "CPS"-named soakers, the only semi-reliable source is eBay. Sometimes, a CPS blaster may appear at a garage sale or at some thrift retail store, but otherwise there's no such thing as left-over overstock soakers. When a soaker does not sell at a store, most stores end up shipping unsold product to some other store in the network which has that particular product in greater demand (based on recently tracked sales). Stores just don't have limitless space in the back to store unsold goods.
