Now that you are here, I invite you to post any stories, pictures, and links you may have, showcasing how sellers put together good water guns with bad guns (and not necessarily water guns, either!)
Case 1:

I want to email the seller, telling them I will buy it on one condition: They smash the Rattler into at least thirty pieces, and mail it to me for incineration.

I think the Rattler looks awesome, it's just a shame that it's pretty much useless. I dare you to message him that haha.

You could always gut it, and use the casing as a case for a homemade. Then you have the looks and the performance.

Quoted from marauder:
When it comes to cars, girls, soakers, I always go for looks and performance.

anyway, i wouldn't be complaining to get a cps 1200 for 13 bucks.

A few years ago, I brought the following for $80:
XP 220
XP 270
XP 310 (the reservoir arrived in pieces; we threw it out...

)
CPS 2700
MD 3000
MD 4000 x2
MD Secret Strike
Vaporizer
Hydroblade (leaks pressure)
Helix
I still have everything except the 310, but I'm going to get rid of some of the weaker ones. As for the 1200 and Rattler, I would actually go for that, but I can't at the moment. Like Poseidon2000 said, it's worth it just for the 1200.

Another 1200 sounds nice to me…
If you don't want it i'll take it.

As Andrew said, the rattler would be a nice shell for something.

I would actually message the seller what I said above, but I don't want the CPS 1200. (I am buying something better) Someone else can have it, it's a pretty good deal.

I seriosly considered buying this, it is a very good price, but with the $15 shipping, making the total about $30, I decided not to. $30 would be worth it for a 12k but not right now.
After just spending over $300 on LEGO, I just don't feel like buying anything else just yet.
