Unless you plan on carrying the 1200 for a backup, I wouldn't bother with a strap at all. The only time you'd use a strap while fighting would be if you're using a heavy blaster like the CPS 2700 or Monster X (Unless you're a weight-lifter or something...); the 1200 is meant to be a light blaster for speedy attacks, and all a strap would do is get in the way. If you do need a strap however, you can easily use one from a guitar or something.
