CPS 1000 x2 on eBay
CPS 1000 x2 on eBay
Not minutes after I tell the soaker on SSC that it is off season, I find this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Two-1997-Larami ... _500wt_922
2 CPS 1000s for ~$20, and central east coast too.
Fun fact: look at the city where the seller lives. I actually remember history class!
Edit:looking around, I've seen two more 1000s. There seem to be a lot of these going around.

Re: CPS 1000 x2 on eBay
Does anyone else besides me think it suspicous that the seller never shows both of them in the same picture? That's still a good price though. I'd probably bid on it if I wasn't hording every penny I get.

The price will probably go much higher in the last few seconds though.

Maybe, but there is still only one bid.
I've been wondering, who snipes these things?

At this time of year, sometimes nobody. I had a bid on that SS 300 and someone outbid me slightly (by slightly I mean 50 cents). I left for New Hampshire and couldn't check the auction, but it turns out nobody bid it up beyond that. There was also a CPS 1000 that failed to attract any bids at $19.95.

Blue sold a broken (but totally fixable) 2000 on Nerfhaven for just 5 effing dollars. Plus a broken 1500 and some other thingies. All for $5. And it was in a pistol sale thread, so I never saw it until it was too late. Thus, the NIC is worth watching for water guns. CPS come up somewhat often and nerfers generally don't know the value of them.
