Craigslist, Thou Art Awesome

A sentence spoken by William Shakespeare himself...
Anyway, this whole summer I've been hunting for deals on Craigslist and Kijiji, I have found so many, so this thread is just a heads up. The problem is that I didn't act quickly enough for any of them, so my advice is to check often and snatch them quickly.
First, there's the CPS 2700 I bought a few years ago for $15, can't forget that.
This year, I've seen:
-Twin CPS4100s for $40
-CPS 1000, XP 150, MDSS, all for $20
-CPS 2100 and some other stuff for $20
-CPS 2500 for $45
-CPS 2700 for $35
-XP 150 and 85 for $20 (not a good deal, but seems negotiable)
-WW Blazer for $5
So, my point is, check your local Craigslist for fantastic deals.

True that. My CPS armoury was built from craigslist & kijiji
Got this summer:
$68 - CPS2700 * 2
$45 - CPS2500
$20 - CPS1700
$7 - Super Shooter CPS2000 (CPS1000)
$20 - CPS2100 * 2
$10 - Blazer * 2
Way Cheaper than Ebay & More reliable source than Garage Sale (Garage Sale cheaper though)
Look local you wouldn't believe what you find at what price. Just be prepared for some minor/medium repairs opposed to buying a new one when required.
Other thoughts: I kind of regret letting that CPS3200 slip away from me this summer for like 50 buck as i recall.

I got an SS 200 and SS 50 off Craigslist for $10. They don't work now, but one day I will get around to fixing them. There is no shame in hitting up Craiglist in all the cities they offer, just ask the seller if they are willing to ship (you pay shipping obviously). Don't let a $5 CPS 2000 slip away just because it's not in your state.

Is it worth driving half an hour to pick up a $2 Flash Flood? Not that I've ever been too crazy about FFs, but something that cheap always intrigues me...

Each way or round trip? I would say so. Make sure to test it there though.

Each way.
Meh, I'm not in the mood to do that drive when the prize is just a Flash Flood.

Calculate the cost of the gas expended against the full value of the FF.

unfortunately I'm broke at the moment, but I'm sure there's someone else on this forum that's interested in a few of these...

Anyone who lives in Dallas and wants a good soaker can find a good deal here:

Pretty cheap but to me, slightly dodgy.

The 2100 is a mk 2, the 2500's stap is broken, and the 4100 trigger looks broken. Oh yeah, the prices are way too high.

Really? $45 is pretty cheap considering they aren't totally smashed up. Strap can be replaced for a few bucks and the trigger can be replaced/fixed easily. Can't say much about the mk2 CPS 2100 though.

Yeah, I think it's a pretty good deal. 2500 strap is not a problem and is it really broken or is it just the camera angle? 4100 looks to be in great shape except the trigger, also easy fix. 2100 could be used as a loaner gun. With the sun fading, it's also a good candidate for a paintjob. The 2500 is also borderline like that. Once a gun is faded enough to lose its collectible value, you can still claw back its aesthetic value with a full body paintjob. I'd pay that if I lived in Texas.

That's a great deal! I'd pay $50 for 3 'broken' CPSs. Get a guitar strap for the 2500, open up the 4100 and do a really simple repair, and use the 2100. Someone get them, please!
In the summer I spotted a CPS1500 go for something like $6 because it was 'broken', it was either a trigger problem or a pump problem (don't remember). Had it not been for shipping, I would have snatched it.

eBay ripoffs of CPS guns. They got the font pretty good, but not the performance.
DX- why are you always trying to sell me stuff?

If he was trying to sell me CPS (not the 1-3-5) I would of bought it. Too bad he isn't.
