Making your own Power Pak

Post by Poseidon2000 » Tue Sep 11, 2012 5:30 pm

Is that possible?? If that is, that could probably be cheaper, and stronger, knowing Power Paks go for quite some money.

Easily possible. An LRT CPS backpack with a hand-held blaster/quick fill adaptor. JLSpacemarine made a replacement gun for the powerpak so that would be a good place to start as that is the hardest part to build.

THIS could be interesting.... It would be better than a power pak if I made different nozzle varieties, used more LRT, lets say 4-6 L, and make stronger LRT in the backpack.

It depends on how you want to design it. There isn't any set component list for homemades, it's just whatever you need. If you drew up a few designs you can see what goes where, and what sort of pipes/connectors you might need.

This project will be after CX (Captain Xerxes), so it will be some time. If i do have Free time, I'll try to make a sketch. Right now it's just ideas.
