Croc and I were modding a few of my guns today, including the EES Turbine, when I thought "is it possible to turn it into a CPS gun?". My idea is to place some LRT in the see through plastic thing that contains the spinning light-up turbine. So that requires me to cut off the wires and reposition the tubing.
I'll try to get pictures in (how many times have I said that?
)
So my questions are, would that perform better than a normal EES Turbine would? Would the pulse shot not work anymore? I already CVF'd it (clogged the hole in the pump with glue), so would the idea not work in the first place?

Pulsing is based on the flow of water, not on how the water is pressurized. So long as you didn't damage the nozzle, pulsing should work. In terms of performance, it really depends on how good a job you do with hooking up the LRT with the set-up.
Thing is, the EES Turbine is a pressurized reservoir-based blaster. You'd have to do some serious re-designing of the inner tubing connections to convert it into an actual CPS-like soaker. If you're just hybridizing the LRT with the tubing leading to the nozzle, you are going to get a strange change in performance, depending on how much the soaker is pumped.

I think that if I were to do this mod, I would make it emain air pressure, not change it to CPS, like mr. dude has mentioned. I was helping him mod his guns ( MD 6k, EES turbine), mostly CVFing them. The pump and things have been secured in with lots of elmers ultimate glue (which mr. dude proved to me worked) holding it together to withstand pressure if he can't do the mod.

A good point that Ben/Doom brought up over on sscentral is that LRT wouldn't be able to expand enough in the casing, so would croc's idea of keeping it as an air pressure gun be better?

I sure think it would be, but then again, I thought of the idea, and you can use some of your zombified SS100 to help with this. I will help you some time later on, changing your EES Turbine into a seperate PC gun (use balloons for the PC, but I'll have to show you the rest later
