SS 50 wont pump

Hey! I got a bunch of blasters today and figured I would start with the worst first. It seems like there was modding done. There is epoxy on the back of the pump tube. But I can't get it to pull att all when its in the gun and its really stiff of a pull when its just internals. Any tips?
