Hey all:

I've got a CPS2000mk2 that seems on the verge of giving up the ghost. At the end of my big war last year, it was pumping water out the nozzle occasionally.

I dissassembled it (that was a PAIN!!!) and everything looks intact. The p/c is still good, no holes in the tubing...I tried tightening the trigger mechanism with a rubber band in case it was stuck open (which has happened on occasion), but no cigar. The gun is still pumping water out of the nozzle with each pump. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Adrian

The CPS2000 Mk2 I got recently seems to experience this problem at first, but after a couple of quicker pumps, the trigger valve seems to close up and she begins pressurizing properly. While not a fix, I'm wondering whether yours may behave the same way. At any rate, as you and I appear to have similar issues, I'll be opening up my CPS2000 Mk2 later and poke around to see if I can give better suggestions based on my own findings.

I would suggest maybe putting on another rubberband or two. If worse comes to worse, you may have to open the trigger valve area and see if you can fix it in there.
