Punched at a Water Fight

Sadly, when you gather a bunch of strangers together for a water fight, there's no telling what sort of stupidity or pure A-holeness you'll attract. While using social media outlets like Facebook are ways that one can organize these sorts of potentially fun, free-for-all water fights, in public areas, we must always remain vigilant in terms of avoiding or at least minimizing the chances of such acts of stupidity.

Colored water, violent response, knives out, assaulting police...wow.

If you play stupid games, you will win stupid prizes.

And by stupid games, I do not mean waterfighting. That is anything but stupid. I mean chasing people around and throwing fruit juice on them. Sure, jacking the author of a drive-by-fruiting in the face is more than a little rash, but you have to know (as the thrower) eventually you're going to run into a less than even-headed person.

Did you read the comments on that page? Ye Gods and Little Fishies. People like that exist. And have access to the internet. And they're going to be doctors and lawyers and cops someday. Yikes.

Yeah, I read those comments. Generally, I read comments automatically until I realize it's just a long string of pointless, brain-dead insults and poorly-researched claims. It's worse on many other sites though, so maybe that's why I made it through the entire list of comments. As of August 1st.
