Today we were all playing basketball (spring break) and it was getting hot, so I suggested a watergun fight. I wanted to try out my CPS Aquapack Devastator. So everyone went and got their guns and came to my house to fill up. My friend Dustin brought his Max D Hydroblade (can't stand those things) and an SS 200. I had no clue he had an SS 200, and he told me his neighbor gave it to him and told him it was his gun as a kid. Naturally I didn't want the gun to get broken so I pulled out my Arctic Shock and told him I wanted to trade (plus I like the SS 200 even if it's performance is poor). So to convince him I said let's test the ranges out, thinking that the Arctic Shock would outrange the SS 200 without a doubt. To my surprise their ranges were equal, and of course the SS 200's shot time at full power was twice that of the Arctic Shock. I didn't think he would trade, but since the Arctic Shock is newer he traded me for it. Anyway...on to the battle.
I had a bunch of newbies on my team. We had one SS 200 (me), my friend Daniel who was using my Aquapack Devastator, Bethany using a CPS 1200, and Drew who had a Storm 750. The other team was my brother with my sister's CPS 1000, Dustin with the Arctic Shock, and Kristin with the Hydroblade. I pretty much thought Kirk was going to kill everybody, but we whipped their tails. I was a beast with the 200... which seems really freaky, but anyway I killed 2 of them and Daniel took out the other guy using my Devastator. We played three rounds, in which I had 5 kills and only got killed once.
I was well pleased with the Devastator's performance in battle even if I didn't get to use it. I was extremely surprised at how well the SS 200 performed, even if I had to pump it around 50 times. I'm not going to let this get the best of me though, as my last 200 broke in the heat of battle. I'm going to open it up and reinforce all the pipes and tubing. Two more people decided to get Aquapack Devastators from this. While none of us have used the Flash Flood the pure efficiency that the Devastator exhibits is convincing enough. I don't know if they'll really get them, but needless to say I am pleased with it's battle performance.
